Kindergarten Home Page
The Kiel Soccer Club Kindergarten program is the foundation for the youth and
high school program emphasizing on 'games with balls' to introduce basic
concepts of the game. The season progresses towards short scrimmages at
the end of the season where the skills learned can be put into action.
The coaching emphasis focuses on skill building through fun in the game.
The mission of this program is to introduce general skills through play
building the understanding of team work, and introducing ball management through
experience.

When do Kindergarteners play? |
The Kindergarteners play from 11:30 -12:30 Saturdays from late April through
June. |

Where do Kindergarteners play? |
Kindergarteners play at the Kiel Soccer Complex. Changes in venue will be
communicated through the coaches. |

How many players are on a team? |
Most teams are made up of 5-6 players. |

How much does it cost? |
2012 fee's are $20.00. Click ->

What equipment does my Kindergartener need? |
Soccer generally requires shin guards for safety, and cleats are recommended,
however tennis shoes are an acceptable alternative. Balls are provided by
the club. |

Are there special cleats? |
Yes. Soccer cleats have two cleats on the toe. Single toe cleats are
for baseball and football. These can not be used on the soccer field. |

Does my Kindergartener need a uniform? |
The Kiel Soccer Club will provide a uniform shirt for players that have
registered prior to the registration dead-line. |
|
Who is my players coach? |
The coaching is generally done by adults assisted by high school players. |

Is there a picture day? |
Yes. Dates will follow. |
