U11 - U14 Home Page
U11 - U14 soccer continues to be a training ground for high school soccer
with emphasis on team play and performance skills. Coaching emphasis continues
to be on personal development and fun, however, team play becomes
paramount. This division competes in the East Central District within the
Wisconsin Youth Soccer Association where
traveling to our competitor's fields enhances the experience.
The mission of the U11-U14 leagues is to further develop personal performance
while integration into team play. Skills at this level are
instilled to prepare athletes for high school competition, or adult recreational
play.

When do U11-U14 players play? |
The U11-U14 players play on weeknights from early April through
June. The days depend on age. |

Where do U11-U14 players play? |
U11-U14 players play at The Kiel Soccer Complex when home, and travel out of
county for away games. |

How many players are on a team? |
Most teams are made up of 10-16 players. |
|
How many players are on the field? |
The format is 8V8 (7V7 plus a goal keeper) for U11-U12 and 11V11 (10V10 plus a
goalkeeper) for U13 and up. |

Do you keep track of the score? |
Yes. This is a select level of soccer where teams are ranked based on wins
and losses. |

How much does it cost? |

What equipment does my U11-U14 player need? |
Select soccer requires shin guards and cleats for safety. Clothing with pockets
is strictly prohibited on the field of play. Game balls are provided by
the club, however, practice balls are provided by the players. |

Are there special cleats? |
Yes. Soccer cleats have two cleats on the toe. Single toe cleats are
for baseball and football. These can not be used on the soccer field. |

Does my U11-U14 player need a uniform? |
Players are required to purchase a jersey through the Kiel Soccer Club. Black
shorts and purple socks can be purchased through Kiel Soccer Fanwear. |

Who is my players coach? |
The coach is required to be licensed through Wisconsin Youth Soccer. Your coach
will hold an 'E' level license or higher. |
|
Is there a picture day? |
Yes. Dates will follow. |
